Tips to crack SSC CHSL 2017 

As you will have enough time for the CHSL Tier-1 2017 exam, You need to start your preparation from basics. Don’t only Study but Revise it at the same time: One of the mistakes that student make is that they complete the topic well and move forward. But this is not the way how you should prepare. Instead, when you prepare a topic, write it down in a notebook and make important points of that topic so that you can memorize it. Now on the next day when you start studying next topic before that revise the older one. In this way, you will always remain in touch with all the topics. " Your handwritten notes will come handy at the time of last moment revision." 

Plan first two months for concept building, Focus equally on four subjects of CHSL Tier-1 2017 Exam, While studying any topic, Mark all the important points:  When you are studying, please remember to keep a marker handy and every time when you notice something important eg. A formula or any special tricks, mark it with the marker. So that when you will revise this topic it will be easier for you to recollect what you have studied in the first place.Study according to syllabus: The syllabus of CHSL is huge especially quantitative and general knowledge. SSC CHSL Tier-II Syllabus

This is a descriptive exam that is designed to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/Application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 percent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. Apart from this, you need to be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) start conducting the Combined Higher Secondary Level(CHSL) in three levels for various posts from 2016.

Tier – II Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi Pen and Paper mode
