Essay on ‘Digital India’
‘Digital India’ is a campaign launched by the government of India on 1st of July in 2015 in order to transform it into a digitally empowered country proving its real efficiency and fulfilling its dream of being a cynosure among the countries of the world. The motive behind launching this smart campaign was to interconnect the government services and population of this country digitally. It is to facilitate Indian citizens with electronic government’s services in order to reduce paperwork, improve work efficiency and save time. The campaign came out with some lucrative aims like ensuring the broadband highway, IT jobs, facilitating people with high speed internet, bringing e-governance and an efficient delivery of government or private services to the citizens, In addition to this, they will be facilitated to improve their knowledge and skill level after getting covered under the gigantic web of internet.
India is almost on the apogee in the population top ranking chart and it will be a piece of cake to imagine a country with the burden of immensely huge population facing the hardships begetting from its repercussions like unemployment, poverty, lacking of resources, insanitation, crimes, limited habitation and such other petrified circumstances. As the saying goes Something is better than Nothing,‘Digital India’ seems making the most of it as control over the rapidity of population seems a hard row to hoe, at least we can take effective steps to recover its consequences in an astute way, ‘Digital India’ is a perspicuously brilliant effort regarding this by the regulating government that came with so many benefits like easy access to online services, handling bank account, financial management, safe and secure cyber space, distant education, online business and making financial transactions electronically cashless, and easing important health care services like e-hospital system such as online registration, taking doctor appointments, fee payments, blood check-ups, large scale deployment of wifi spots etc.
India is really suffering from the burden of its initial problems and it will deserve to be called a developed country when not only its cities but the villages will turn smart as well as they constitute a prodigious part of the country and it will be possible only through a fast, convenient and technical support and ‘Digital India’ with its substantial aims seems leading India to a better spot evoking as a tough competitor to the prosperous countries of the world.
This project has been planned to be completed by 2019 with the investment of campaign,In the end, this quote ‘THERE ARE MANY INITIATIVES FOR SMART CITIES BUT WE ALSO NEED SMART CITIZENS-ANKIT LAL, AAP, is sufficient to understand the importance of the ongoing campaign.
