Remove "too" in English Grammar

Hello Students, Welcome again to the concept of English of Grammar. Today we will discuss a most interesting topic of the Grammar i.e. Remove Too

Rule 1:-

If the structure of a sentence is
Subject + verb + too + Adjective/Adverb + infinitive (to+v1)

Conversion:-

Step 1:- subject + verb.
Step 2:- remove “too” and write “so” at that place.
Step 3:- use Adjective/Adverb.
Step 4:- use “that”
Step 5:- use pronoun according to the subject.
Step 6:- use can/can’t/cannot/could not which is according to the tense.
Step 7:- remove “to” and then rest of the part of the sentence.
Pattern will be subject + verb + so + Adjective/Adverb + that + pronoun (according to the subject) + can/can’t/couldn’t/could not + rest of the sentences.
E.g.:- 

• He is too good to beat a boy. 
• Solution:- He is so good that he cannot beat a boy. 
• It is too cold to go out of the mansion. 
• Solution:- It is so cold that we cannot go out of the mansion. 

Rule 2:-

If the structure of a sentence is
Subject + verb + too + Adjective + for + Noun

Conversion:-

Step 1:- subject + verb.
Step 2:- remove “too” and write “so” at that place.
Step 3:- use Adjective.
Step 4:- use “that”.
Step 5:- use pronoun according to the subject.
Step 6:- use can/can’t/cannot/could not which is according to the tense.
Step 7:- use “be” and remove “for”.
Step 8:- remove “to” and then rest of the part of the sentence.
Pattern will be subject + verb + so + Adjective + that + pronoun (according to the subject) + can/can’t/couldn’t/could not + be + rest of the sentences.
E.g.:- 

• He is too dull for a work. 
• Solution:- He is so dull that he cannot be a worker. 

Rule 3:-

If the structure of a sentence is
Subject + verb + too + Adjective + for + Pronoun(objective case)

Conversion pattern

Subject + verb + so + Adjective + that + Pronoun(Nominative case) + can/can’t/couldn’t/could not + any verb that is suitable.
E.g.:- 

• The night is very cold for me. 
• Solution:- The night is so cold that I cannot bear it.

Rule 4:-

If the structure of a sentence is
Subject + verb + too + Adjective/Adverb

Conversion

Step 1:- subject + verb.
Step 2:- remove “too” and write “so” at that place.
Step 3:- use Adjective in comparative form.
Step 4:- use “than” instead of “that”.
Step 5:- use should/should be + Adjective or it is proper/it was proper.
E.g:- 

• Veena runs too weak 
• Solution:- Veena is weaker than it is proper. 

Rule 5:-

Two sentences are joined using infinitives (to + v1)
E.g.:- 

• I switched on the television. I want to see the news. 
• Solution:- I switched on the television to see the news. 

Rule 6:-

Two sentences are joined using “too + to”
E.g.:- 

• The news is very vulgar; it cannot be broadcasted. 
• Solution:- The news is too vulgar to be broadcasted. 
• He us very ill; he cannot go to the college today 
• Solution:- He is too ill to go to the college today.
