- Stampede - if a group of animals or people stampede, they all start to run in a very fast uncontrolled way because they are frightened or excited
- Preventable - capable of being prevented
- Pedestrian - someone who is walking, especially in a town or city, instead of driving or riding
- Ghastly - shocking in a way that frightens or upsets you
- Staircase - a set of stairs, usually with a bar fixed on the wall or onto vertical poles at the side for you to hold on to

- Obstacle - a difficulty or problem that prevents you from achieving something
- Termini - a large building where train, boat, or bus services start and finish
- Exemplary - excellent or done in a way that other people should try to copy
- Compensation - money that someone receives because something bad has happened to them
- Reinforce - to make an idea, belief, or feeling stronger
- Accountability - a situation in which people know who is responsible for something and can ask them to explain its state or quality
