Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission(JSSC) has released 1544 vacancies for the post of Police Sub Inspector.

Total number of vacancy: 1544

  • General: 772
  • OBC: 217
  • SC: 154
  • ST: 401

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess a graduate degree from a recognised university.

Pay Scale: PB(II)- Rs.9300-34800 with Rs.4200 (according to 6th Pay Grade)

Age Limit:
There is no age limit for the candidates.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 460/-
Fee Charges for SC/ST candidates who belongs to Jharkhand is Rs.115
Last date to Apply Onlne: 08.09.2017 (till 5:00 pm)
Last date of Fee Submission: 12.09.2017

The structure of Examination:

The structure of the examinations which will be conducted Offline and it will contain 3 stages whcih are given below:

  1. Objective Type Test (Offline)
  2. Physical Test
  3. Medical Test

Objective Type Test (Offline)

This exam will contain 3 papers:

 Exam1: Hindi Language
This exam will be qualifying in nature.
