The very first step in one's preparations for a particular examination is to gather adequate knowledge of Complete IBPS Clerk 2017 Syllabus. As IBPS does not officially release a syllabus for this particular examination, we can assume that the syllabus is vast and intricate. It is geared towards testing aspirant’s flexibility to solve complex questions.
We all know that the pattern of all the banking examinations, especially SBI PO Examination 2017, have been showing extreme variations when compared to previous year’s examinations. All that you need to do is to be ready for a bolt from the blues and to tackle it all with poise. The IBPS PO Syllabus always remains the same, only the questions based on those topics are molded in a completely different way that makes you a bundle of nerves while attempting the examination. So students, here is the complete IBPS Clerk 2017 Syllabus.

IBPS Clerk 2017 Complete Syllabus

Reasoning Ability Syllabus
Reasoning Ability is an onerous section. With the increasing complexity of questions, it becomes hard for one to give it the cold shoulder. Earlier students used to have a mindset of ignoring the complex puzzles, thereby solving the other questions that are comparatively easy. But to their dismay, this strategy won’t be working anymore as so many questions from the other topics like directions, etc. are being asked in the form of puzzles only. The only way to make the grade in this particular section in the forthcoming exam of IBPS Clerk is to practice continuously with all your heart and soul. The syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude, IBPS Clerk Examination is:

Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus

This section has always been giving the aspirants heebie-jeebies when they appear for any examination. As the level of every other section is only getting complex and convoluted, there is no doubt that this section too will be making your blood run cold. As per the analysis of previous examinations, the questions asked in this section are calculative and very time consuming. Data Interpretation and topics from arithmetic section make it hard for one to deal with the section as easily as any other section. The level of questions on arithmetic asked in the previous year were so convoluted and calculative that almost every aspirant broke out in a cold sweat. English Language Syllabus

The questions asked in this section can be easily handled if your basics are clear. Sometimes, even those who can communicate very well in English, fail to perform to the best of their ability in competitive exams. Instead of boiling the ocean, try building up a strong vocabulary, effective knowledge of grammar, and efficient comprehension skills so as to be on the ball to face this particular section. The syllabus for English Language, IBPS Clerk Examination is:

  • Reading Comprehension

Most of the questions are now being asked from Banking Awareness so this section too is going to be very challenging.
