Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) plus Grade Pay-2000 according to 6th pay commission.

The number of vacancies are 9990. The number of vacancies mentioned is liable to alteration.

Q.What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Age will be calculated as on 01.06.2017, you can check age criteria in below table:-

Q. What is the Structure of Examination?
Bihar Police selection process consists of 3 stages which are:

Written Exam

Some important points about Written Exam of Bihar Police 2017 are given below:-

• The Difficulty Level of the Written Exam will be similar to Class 12 of Bihar Board.
• Exam will be conducted in offline mode. 
• Time duration of Exam: 2 hours.
• Number of Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100 Marks
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• All the candidates need to score minimum 30% marks in this exam to qualify to the next level.
• Written exam will be of qualifying nature only, marks of this exam will not be added in the final list.

Physical Efficiency Test

Some important points about Physical Efficiency Test of Bihar Police 2017 are given below:-

Marks allotted to Each Test:

• Running – 50 marks
• Shot put – 25 marks
• High Jump – 25 marks

The Merit List will be made on the basis of the overall marks scored in all the three above mentioned events.

Medical Examination

Some important points about Medical Examination of Bihar Police 2017 will include the following –:-

• Eye
• Color Blindness
• Stamina
• Stammering
• Flat Foot  
• Knocking Knee, etc

Only those candidates who clear the Medical Examination successfully will be selected.

Q. What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?

A candidate must cleared 12th standard from a recognized University. There are some specialization for various posts to know in detail.

Application fee for OBC & General Candidates: Rs.450/-
Application fee for SC & ST Candidates: Rs.112/-
Online Transaction charges & GST are also applicable on Application Fee.
