Dear Student, The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for Recruitment of Stenographer Grade „C‟ (Group „B‟ Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟(Group „C‟ Non-Gazetted) in the month of September 2017. You have almost 45 days left for the exam to begin. The Date of Computer Based Examination is 04-09-2017 to 07-09-2017. Guys, it's great opportunity for you to get a govt. job. if you plan excellently and study all the subjects in a detailed manner, you can easily score good marks. You should know all the students are making determined effort to qualify this exam, and if you do not practice hard, you will be left behind in the competition. Today in this article we will discuss the subject wise study plan for Stenographer Grade C and D exam 2017.

Dear students, It is very crucial to understand your exam syllabus beforehand. Once you understand the exam structure, the battle is half won. There are total 3 subjects in Stenographer Exam namely Reasoning, General Awareness, and English language & Comprehension. You should make a detailed analysis of you all these three subjects. First of all, you should attempt previous years question paper of Stenographer Grade C and D exam 2017. Then note down all types of topics from which questions have been asked. Your preparation should be focused and based on these topics only. SSC repeats many questions, so plan your studies smartly. Let's move forward to the subject specific strategy.

Reasoning Section is easier and always high scoring. There will be 50 Questions, 50 Marks. Let's discuss some easier question types. Questions related to images, analogy, odd-one out, direction sense, dictionary questions. You should attempt these questions first, you can attempt these questions within a few seconds. Then you should move on to the remaining questions. Practice mock tests daily, analyze your scores.

For General Awareness Section, There will be 50 questions, 50 marks. Your primary focus should be on studying NCERT books. Analyze the previous year papers, note down all the topics from where the questions have been asked. study only these topics studiously and make hand written notes. These handwritten notes should be your weapon in these last moment revision. In GA section, SSC repeats 3-4 questions every time, so you should definitely study previous years questions to get easy marks. Refer only selected topics and do not waste much time for this section. Focus more on Polity, economics and modern history.

There will be 100 questions, 100 Marks in English Section. Most of the students dread English Section so we will begin with the English Section Stenographer Grade C and D exam 2017. In English, there are three types of questions, Vocabulary questions, Grammar questions and Reading Comprehension. For grammar related questions, you should revise all the rules regarding, uses of tenses, articles, nouns, pronouns, subject-verb agreement, usage of conjunctions and prepositional phrases. practice 5 passages daily, read the questions first then read the passage. 5 questions will be asked from fill in the blanks. 10 questions from Antonyms/Synonyms, 5 questions from Idiom/phrases, 5 questions from the jumbled paragraph, 10 questions from active/passive, 10 questions from sentence improvements, 10 questions from direct/indirect sentences, 20 questions from cloze test, 15 questions from Reading Comprehension. This is previous years questions break up, in 2017 it might be same or different, but you should study all these English Topics.
