Answers with Explanation

1. Ans. D.

Solution:
Fewer instead of less
(Because Use fewer if you’re referring to people or things in the plural (e.g. houses, newspapers) and Use less when you’re referring to something that can’t be counted or doesn’t have a plural (e.g. money, air, time, music, rain))

2. Ans. C.

Solution:
Ourselves instead of himself
(Because we are talking about us so we must use objective relative pronoun)

3. Ans. A.

Solution:
It’s instead of its
(Because it’s –it is and its- possessive case)

4. Ans. A.

Solution:
Besides instead of beside
(Because here we need an adverb not a noun)

5. Ans. C.

Solution:
Them instead of themselves
(Because following verbs are not used reflexively: keep, stop, turn, rest, hide etc.)

6. Ans. B.

A few instead of a little
(Because few is used with countable noun and little is used with uncountable noun)

Solution:
Is instead of are
(Because we can’t use plural verb with Either, neither and each of etc.)

Were instead of was
(Because operations are plural subject so we can’t use was with it)

(Because we can’t use enough after a noun)
