1.Pedantic
Meaning: excessively concerned with minor details or rules; over scrupulous.
Synonym: abstruse, pompous, stilted, academic
Antonym: informal, plain
Sentence: "his analyses are careful and even painstaking, but never pedantic"

2.Amalgamate
Meaning: combine or unite to form one organization or structure.
Synonym: combine, merge, unite,
Antonym: separate
Sentence: "he amalgamated his company with another"

3.Renegade
Meaning: a person who deserts and betrays an organization, country, or set of principles.
Synonym: traitor, defector, deserter, turncoat
Antonym: follower
Sentence: "an agent who later turns out to be a renegade"

4.Encroachment
Meaning: intrusion on a person's territory, rights, etc
Synonym: intrusion into, trespass on, invasion of
Antonym: ignore  give, keep of
Sentence: "minor encroachments on our individual liberties"

5.Malevolent
Meaning: having or showing a wish to do evil to others
Synonym: malicious, spiteful, hostile,
Antonym: benevolent
Sentence: "the glint of dark, malevolent eyes"

6.Divulge
Meaning: make known (private or sensitive information)
Synonym: disclose, reveal,
Antonym: conceal
Sentence: "I am too much of a gentleman to divulge her age"

7.Imperturbable
Meaning: unable to be upset or excited; calm.
Synonym: self-possessed, composed,
Antonym: edgy, excitable
Sentence:  "an imperturbable tranquility"

8.Exorbitant
Meaning: (of a price or amount charged) unreasonably high.
Synonym: extortionate, preposterous
Antonym: reasonable, competitive
Sentence: "some hotels charge exorbitant rates for phone calls"

9.Clandestine
Meaning: kept secret or done secretively, especially because illicit.
Synonym: secret, covert, furtive, surreptitious,
Antonym: open, above board
Sentence: "she deserved better than these clandestine meetings"

10.Cajole
Meaning: persuade (someone) to do something by sustained coaxing or flattery.
Synonym: persuade, wheedle, coax,
Antonym: bully
Sentence: "he hoped to cajole her into selling him her house"
