Dear Students, According to the latest update, a case has been filed against SSC for irregularities in the Tier-II examination. At many centers, problems in computers and mishandling of resources have been found.
A group of students, has filed 'Writ Petition' against Staff Selection Commission for SSC CGL 2016. A lawyer named Prashant Bhushan has appeared against SSC in Supreme Court case for cancellation of the Tier-II exam.
In it's statement SSC lawyers has admitted to fault by SIFY. It is a third party organisation which has contract of conducting online exams for SSC. the Judges has found merit in this case, hence The Supreme Court has decided to set up a committee of 2 judges appointed for the investigation. A confidential report has to be submitted by committee by 5th May 2017.
Committee will examine evidence including CD and CCTV footage of examination. If committee finds any misconducting or irregularities in exam, it may cancel both Tier-1 and Tier-2 of SSC CGL 2016.The Next hearing for this case is on 5th May 2017. Till then, SSC will continue with its CGL 2016 and CGL 2017 Notification recruitment process as usaul.
