International Static Awareness for Bank and SSC Exams

Australia


Australia is a country and continent surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans. Its major cities – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide – are coastal. The country is known for its Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, a vast interior desert wilderness called the Outback, and unique animal species like kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses.

Bangladesh

1. The official name of Bangladesh is the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The word Bangladesh means "Country of Bengal" in the local language.
2. The Royal Bengal Tiger is Bangladesh’s national animal. This majestic creature has a roar that can be heard up to 3 kilometers away. Unfortunately, it is now an endangered species.
3. The national day of Bangladesh is celebrated on March 26. This day marks the declaration of independence and the commencement of Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. It is celebrated as a national holiday.
4. The national anthem of Bangladsh has been written by Rabindranath Tagore.
5. Kabaddi is the national game of Bangladsh.

Georgia

Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, is a former Soviet republic that’s home to Caucasus Mountain villages and Black Sea beaches. It’s famous for Vardzia, a sprawling cave monastery dating to the 12th century, and the ancient wine-growing region Kakheti.

3. Georgia became a state on January 2, 1788.

Malaysia

Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It's known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences.

Spain

Spain, a country on Europe’s Iberian Peninsula, includes 17 autonomous regions with diverse geography and cultures. Capital city Madrid is home to the Royal Palace and Prado museum, housing works by European masters.
