I would like to share my success story with the Bankersadda (Mecca for Banking Aspirants) and with all the aspirants of competitive exams. I have always admired all those who post their success stories on Bankersadda and always thought whether I would ever get a chance to share my story. And now the day has come!! I am writing this success story to inspire those who get demotivated after continuous failure. I completed my B.Tech in July 2013. Although I got campus placement but I didn't join private sector job. I started preparing for civil services from Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. Meanwhile, I cleared CDS in Feb 2014, so started preparing for my SSB in between.

Result- [2014]

SSB- Conference out

UPSC CSE- Pre out

I wanted a backup plan for UPSC so gave IBPS PO and CGL exams both.

Result- [2014-15]

SSC CGL- PRE OUT (by 2 marks)

IBPS PO IV- OUT (Given Interview but couldn't make it in merit list by 0.6 marks)

The result was shocking for me. The reason why I failed because I didn't practice at all. Now, I needed a job badly, so I paused my UPSC prep & started focusing on exams like Banking, SSC, Railway without any coaching where BANKERSADDA (especially GK CAPSULES,DAILY QUIZZES are the life saver for me) & SSCADDA played a key role for me. I appeared but unfortunately, results were-

RESULT- [2015-16]

SSC CGL- PRE OUT (by 3 marks)

IBPS PO V- OUT (Gave Interview but couldn't make it in merit list again & out by 1.4 marks) IBPS CLERK V- Got BoB (Got my 1st preference bank but didn't join. I gave just to check my level where I stand. I wanted to give 100% for Officer scale job for 1 more year so I took this bold step and didn't join BoB)

By this time I started thinking that maybe becoming a government Officer is not in my fortune. But my parents' support and motivational stories which I read in BANKERSADDA gave me a lot of strength & I decided to bounce back harder. So I gave most of the exams this year.

RESULT [2016-17]

SBI PO- PRE-CLEARED, MAINS OUT

SBI CLERK- PRE-CLEARED, MAINS NOT GIVEN

SSC CGL- PRE-CLEARED, MAINS OUT

RBI ASSISTANT- OUT BY 3 MARKS

IDBI EXECUTIVE- SELECTED IN IDBI BANK

RRB PO V- SELECTED IN BIHAR GRAMEEN BANK

IBPS CLERK VI- SELECTED IN CANARA BANK

IBPS PO VI- SELECTED IN ALLAHABAD BANK [Finally after giving interview for 3 consecutive years!!]

RRB NTPC- RESULT AWAITING

But Is it the END? No! This is just the beginning.

The reason why I mentioned my previous results was because I want to say that please don't give up after continuous failure and blame the situation or your luck. For every failure, there's an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour. Remember Losers make excuses, Winners find a way. Realize your mistakes from the past and learn from it. Do give mock tests and quizzes of CP. Practice Hard.
