Success Story - IBPS RRB V PO 2016

March 12, 2017

Hello friends,
Hi, friends I’m Guttappa Biradar from Karnataka a silent reader of Bankersadda. Today I’m sharing my Struggle story; I can’t believe that I’m writing one. I’m not good at English, sorry for the mistakes if I make any.
After completing my graduation (B.E Mechanical engineering), I worked for almost a year in a private firm. There I faced some situation which led me to leave that job and I was in search of another one. Then one of my best friends Shankar called me and advised me to prepare for banking exams as I'm good at maths.
So here the real story starts
With less preparation, I could crack IBPS clerk exam 2014. But I was out in document verification because of some certificate issue. So next time I prepared for the exams like RRB PO, CLERK, IBPS PO, CLERK and all but missed by few marks.
In the last time when IBPS Clerk 2015 exam result announced and I was out in English by 0.25 marks, I was broke completely. But I noticed there was not a single tear coming out from my eyes because I realised that I was preparing for exams up to how much it was needed but not how much I could. At that time in April last year, my circumstances also changed financially and mentally. But my brother supported me even after 2 years of fruitless efforts. He told me " nee bhal teli kedasko byada innond last sali try mada, nee enu annodu nanag gottu". Which means try for the last time and I know you could make it this time.
Then I made my mind that whichever exams I apply, I prepare my best to take the exams. I didn't skip any chapter in the syllabus and prepared for the worst. I gave online exams which helped me to analyse my weak areas and I strongly recommend it to you. So this time I could crack many exams (Awaiting final results).
From almost two years I isolated myself with friends and family, I didn't use fb, WhatsApp even I was not available on my permanent phone number. I crossed this phase with lots of difficulties, but few people helped me a lot. I concentrated on what I needed not what I liked. And I didn't make my life complex. As an aspirant, I needed few books, gk capsules and a phone with a 2G connection which could at least run adda247 app not an iPhone, a tablet with 4G connections.
Sometimes in life, we see ourselves very low, unproductive and waste (frankly). But believe me, that is not the end. You are the only writer of your story. Life teaches very important lessons in difficult and adverse times. Remember god will help you in one or the other form if you are trying really hard to achieve something. Finally, I made my name in the final list of RRB PO Pragathi Krishna Grameena Bank.
I have some words to my fellow friends who missed the opportunity this time that, be true to yourself and commit to work, be simple and admit that you don't have any important work other than preparing for exams so don't deviate from your goal.
Believe me, if you study really hard soon or later you will accomplish whatever you want. Don't lose hope and be patient at every time in life.
I would like to thank my friends Anil, Shankar, Vittal, Gouda, Jagadeesh, mallu and many who stood by my side at every time.
Thank you all and all the best for your future. Hope I read your story soon.
