Success Story - IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 2016

hello everyone,

I am selected as officer scale 1 in rrb cwe 5 (bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank)

My name- siladitya chakraborty

My state- west bengal

My category - general

My graduation subject - b.a (English honours )

exams appeared in banking -

1) sbi clerk- preliminary mark obtained 58 cut off 52, mains mark obtained 82 cut off 131. (failed in reasoning)

2) ibps po- preliminary mark obtained 48.75 cut off 47.50 failed in mains in computer section by 2 marks overall 59

3) ibps clerk- preliminary mark obtained 82.50 cut off 70.50

4) rrb clerk- failed in preliminary by 1 mark cut off 70/80

5) rrb os 1 - preliminary mark obtained 56.50 cut off 53.25, mains marks obtained 120 cut off 97.25, total got 58.80, cut off 57.7 interview was good but got only 54

beside these there are many exams which i've appeared like west Bengal civil service, cgl,railway ntpc,central warehouse corporation, Calcutta high court and so on....

every time I failed.

but I never feared from failure rather learned my mistakes.

I graduated in 2015 and got admitted in a reputated coaching centre for public service commission, but as their recruitment process is slow and I was looking for a quick job I turned onto banking.

first banking exam was sbi clerk which I failed miserably unable to clear the reasoning section.

then I realised that reasoning is the key to success in any bank exam.

I can proudly say that i've cracked the exam within 3 months starting from August as I use to study for public service commission whose syllabus is totally different.

I use to practice day and night especially reasoning

I got 42/50 in reasoning in rrb os 1 that was the turning point.

I practiced from various sources, but adda 24×7 app was a major contribution because their level is really good. I also purchased their paid tests which were fruitful.

I m 22 years old and I can say that whatever your age may be ,whatever your education background is , success will come if you have the will power and determination.

from 16 in sbi clerk mains to 42 in rrb po mains was never an easy task.

friends remember that if you want to success in banking always try to score more in reasoning, never rely on interview marks as it is very unpredictable.

mains mein itna marks lao ki interview mein 40 vi aa jaye toh pass ho jao. because of my 120 in mains i m successful.

try to score atleast +20 from mains.

regularly follow adda 24×7 for daily updates and quizzes they help us a lot.

many aspirants have a misconception about rrb that it is different from psb but my dear friends all the facilities are same in rrb including the salary

i will be getting 39k after joining

only difference is their posting in rural areas and unavailability of pension which will be starting soon.

(the salary is mentioned just to encourage you to appear in the exam)
