Rate of tiling per square metre = 3200 × 125/100 = 4000
Rate of carpeting per sq. metre = 4000 × 120/100 = 4800
1). Area of the four walls of hall
= 2 × 27 (21 + 42) = 3402 sq. metre
Area of the floor
= 21 × 42 = 882 sq. metre
Painting = (3402 + 882) × 3200
= 13708800
Carpeting = 4800 × 882
Decoration = 4233600 × 14
= 59270400
Electrification = 4233600 × 75/100
Total expenditure
= (13708800 + 4233600 + 59270400 + 3175200)
= 80388000
