IBPS PO Interview Experience 2017 (NOIDA) - 33

Name- ABHINAV SINGH

Date- 09/02/2017

Venue- Bank of India, Staff Training Center, Sector- 62, Noida

I was allotted 2nd batch at 1:00 pm and Panel No. 3, l reached little bit late at 1:15 pm. Firstly biometric was done then I reached in hostel building where my document verification was done smoothly. I were told Good luck for interview.

I was 2nd last in queue so I was expecting that my turn would come around 4:00pm but I had to wait till 5:50 pm (it was very exhausting to wait around 5 hours to your turn). After hearing my name by moderator my heart beat was not in my control,somehow managed, I went in the front of my room.

Doorbell ranged, I opened the door 

ME- May I Come in Please

M1- Please come in

ME- Wished them and they offered me seat.

There were 5 members in the panel(M4, M3, M2, M1, F1)

M2: from where you are?

M2: introduce yourself?

I introduced myself.

M2: in which year you passed graduation?

 I told, sir 2015.

M2: is this your first interview?

ME:yes sir

M2: did you appear in Sbi PO and Clerical?

I told, yes sir mains out in both.

M2: So you are computer science graduate, did you appear in IBPS SO?

ME: yes sir

M2: so if you are selected in both which one you will prefer?

I told, sir IBPS PO. He tried to manipulate me for IBPS SO but I again told, sir IBPS PO

M2: from where I asked Graduation or Banking?

I passed smile and told, sir banking

M3: have you heard about SIDBI?

ME: Answered.

M3: have you ever seen banking balance sheet?

ME: no sir

M3: what do you know about NABARD?

ME: Answered.

M3: which banks does it supervise?

ME: Answered.

M3: what is difference between RRB and Cooperative bank?

ME: Answered but he didn't seem satisfied.

M3: what is difference between Demand Draft and cheque?

ME : Answered.

M3: who is drawer, drawee and payee in cheque and DD?

ME: Answered ( I knew only in cheque but guessed in DD and  it was right)

Thanked all of them and stood up after that M2 asked me did you appear in last year IBPS PO?

ME: yes sir but I was out from PO Pre.

M2: how old are you?

Me: Answered and once again thanked all of them and went out.

Overall a good experience. All the panel members are very friendly. What I observed in this interview is that there will be general marking in interview and your mains score will matter a lot. Be confident, keep a sweet smile on your face. ALL THE BEST TO ALL
