- Insecurity - the state of being open to danger or threat (lack of protection)
- Premises - the land and buildings owned by someone, especially by a company or organization
- Underscores - to emphasize something, or to show that it is important
- Suicide - the act of killing yourself intentionally
- Reveal - to make known or show something that is surprising or that was previously secret
- Capability - the number of weapons, soldiers etc that a country has for fighting a war

- Vowed - to make a determined decision or promise to do something

- Underdog - a person or group of people with less power, money, etc. than the rest of society
- Angst - strong worry and unhappiness, especially about personal problems
- Prompt - to make something happen
- Regarded - to consider or have an opinion about something or someone
- Unthinkable - so shocking that it cannot be imagined as possible
- Revolt - to say that you will not accept someone’s authority or leadership
- Die-hard - used for saying that it is difficult to change a way of behaving that someone has had for many years
- Loyalist - a person or group that strongly supports the government or ruler in power
- Benefactor - someone who gives money to help an organization, society, or person
- Perceived - to come to an opinion about something, or have a belief about something

- Bowing - to bend your head or body forward, especially as a way of showing someone respect

- Slavish - obeying completely and having no original thoughts or ideas
- Obeisance - the fact of obeying or respecting someone, or something you do that expresses this

- Gravitate - to be attracted to or move toward something
- Conviction - the fact of officially being found to be guilty of a particular crime
- Revenge - something that you do to hurt or punish someone because they have hurt you
- Implication - an occasion when you seem to suggest something without saying it directly
