New data transfer record created in Quantum computing
US-based scientists have set a new record of data transfer via superdense coding, a process by which the properties of particles like photons, protons, and electrons are used to store information. While computers transmit information in the form of bits (1 or 0), quantum bits can employ two states simultaneously and therefore represent more information than a traditional bit.
US-based scientists have built a biomimetic tree that mimics the branches and leaves of a cottonwood tree and generates electricity when its artificial leaves sway in the wind. It works on the principle of 'piezoelectric effect' in which small strips of specialised plastic inside the leaf stalks release an electrical charge when bent by moving air
