Solutions:
1. C) Suppose A does work in x days
B does similar work in x/2 days and C does in x/4 days

So, A, B and C together will complete the work in 4 days.
2. C) Required length =[(2.5x + x)/50 – x/50] = 16
2.5x = 50 × 16 =>x = 320

90% of 15000 = 108% of x
=> x = 12500

X liter of Solution 1 contains: A = 3X/5 and B = 2X/5
3 liter of Solution 2 contains: B = 3/5 and C = 12/5
2 liter of Solution 3 contains: B = 7/5 and C = 3/5
Now, Composition of A and B are equal.
==> 3X/5 = 2X/5 + 3/5 + 7/5
==> X/5 = 10/5 ==> X = 10
5. B) Let sum = Rs.x
CI when compounded half-yarly = [x (1 + 10/100)4 – x] = 4641x/10000
CI when compounded annually = [x(20/100)2 – x] = 11/25x
4641x/10000 – 11x/25 = 482 => x = 20000
