Ratio = 7/2: 4/3: 6/5 = 105x : 40x : 36x
Amount invested :-
Ravi = (105x × 4) + (105x × 150/100 ×8)
Rakesh = 40x × 12
Vijay = 36x × 12
Ratio of Share = 35 : 10 : 9
Rakesh’s share = 10/54 ×32400 = Rs.6000.
Let the smallest no. be x ,
so, 4 + 8 + 1 + x + 6 + 7 + 3 should be divisible by 9
29 + x, should be divisible by 9
 if x = 7, 29 + 7 = 36, divisible by 9.
Number = 56 x + 29
Let x = 1, then number = 56 × 1 + 29 = 85
 85 ÷ 8 = 10, remainder = 5.
Let x and (12 - x) be litres of milk from 1st and 2nd container :-
Amount of milk (x litres) of 1st container = 0.70 x
Amount of water = 0.3 x
Amount of milk (12 - x) in 2nd container = 0.5 (12 - x)
Amount of water = 0.5 (12 - x)
Ratio of water to milk =
[0.3x + 0.5(12 - x)]: [0.7x + 0.5(12 - x)] = 3: 5
Solving x = 7.5,  12 -x = 4.5
4 weeks = 4 × 6 × 10 = 240 hours.
regular = 240 ×2.10 = Rs. 504
Total = 525 - 504 = 21
21/4.2 = 5 hours, so total = 240 + 5 = 245 hours.
1/3 rd of 45 min. = 15 min. = 9 km.
Now, 9 km. = 30 min., so speed = 18 km/hr.
D = 120 + 120 = 240 m., t = 8s.
Speed of slow train = s, faster = 2s
Total speed = 2s + s = 3s
So, 3s = 240/8 = 30 m/s.
V = 30/3 m/s. = 10 m/s.
2V = 20 m/s.   or    72 km/hr.
Let average after 17th innings = x
Total runs = 17x
average after 16th inning = x - 4
Total runs = 16 ( x - 4)
Also, 16 (x - 4) + 96 = 17 x     => x = 32
 D = x km.
Speed upstream = 30 - 10 = 20 km/hr.
Speed downstream = 30 + 10 = 40 km/hr.
x/20 +  x/40 = 3          => x = 40 km.
Let Anita’s age = x,        Father = x + 32
Anita’s mother = (x - 3) + 27
So diff. = ( x + 32) - ( x - 3 + 27) = 8
