The notification for IBPS Specialist Officers was recently published. The online registration for the exam started from 16th November 2016 and will close on 2nd December 2016. The exam is scheduled on 28th January 2017 & 29th January 2017 tentatively. Today we are sharing with you all the detailed expected syllabus and the exam pattern of IBPS SO VI.

Exam Pattern
For Law Officer- Scale I & Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I –
For IT Officer Scale I, Agricultural Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel Officer Scale I & Marketing Officer Scale I –
(*) – Only qualifying. Marks obtained in these sections will not be added for merit listing for interview.

Reasoning Section –

This section consists majorly on current affairs with main focus on Banking awareness. Try to cover the under mentioned topics as well –

- National and International News
- Awards and Honours
- Recent Appointments
- Static GK Topics like Countries in News with their capitals and currency
- Current happening of at least 2 – 3 months.
Professional Knowledge –
This section includes questions based on the post you are applying for. It will cover questions based on your graduation syllabus for that particular subject with special focus given on the current affairs related to those subjects.
