Coming to my story, well I completed my graduation in the year 2015 and was placed in TCS. Yes, many of them insisted me to join but yet I took a decision not to join and started my preparation from November onwards. Till November I didn’t knew any thing about banking exams,its syllabus and all.
The first exam I wrote was sidbi where I got 96 marks and not even cleared sectional cutoff of GK. This is where I got to know about GradeUp and started using it. Seriously if u start using this app I bet u will forget everything about Facebook, watsapp and all.The very next exam I wrote was SBI PO with all the efforts and hard work.
Exams given
Sbi Po prelims – 54(obc)
Mains– 110 attempts
Interview and gd was good.
Lastly, I am now selected as SBI PO
Coming to my strategy:
Quantitative aptitude: I followed RS agarwal( repeat it as many times as possible) and Quicker maths by M tyra
Reasoning: Clear up with ur basics and start solving more number of puzzles. The more practice u do the more it fetches marks
Gk: Completely depended on Gradeup material.
English: Start reading any newspaper completely( preferably The Hindu) and practice more number of quizzes from GradeUp.
Lastly never loose hope until u achieve your dream.
Only hard work ever pays and yes, luck favours the person who does hard work
