6). Sweets got by per student = 20% of 60 =12
Sweets got by per teacher = 25% of 60 =15
Total sweets = (12 × 60 + 15 × 6) = 720 + 90
= 810

7). Distance between first post and last post (21 – 1) × 50 = 1000m.
= length of train
Speed = 1000 / (2 × 60) = 25 / 3 m/s
= (25 / 3) × (18 / 5) = 30 km / hr

8). Side of square = 24 cm
Area of square = 576 cm2
Area of rectangle = 576 – 16 = 560 cm2
Breadth of rectangle = 560/28 = 20 cm
Perimeter = 2(28 + 20) = 96 cm

9). Time taken to complete the work by 8 men, 5 women and 15 children
= (1/5) + (1/6) + (1/4) = 60/37 = 1 ( 23/37)
