Solutions:
In 60 gm of mixture, Quantity of water = 60 x 75/100 = 45gm
Quantity of Milk = 15gm
After mixing 15 gm of more water, Quantity of water in the new mixture = 45 + 15 = 60 gm
Since, Quantity of water in 75 gm of mixture = 60 gm
Therefore, 100 gm of of mixture will contain = 60/75 x 100 = 80% of water
According to the question,
Sum of five numbers = 5 × 306.4 = 1532
Therefore, Third number = 1532 - 2 × 431 - 2 × 214.5 = 1532 - 862 – 429 = 241
SI for first two years = 35500 x 15 x 2/100 = Rs.10650
Principal for another investment = 35500 + 10650 = Rs. 46150
Therefore Total Interest Earned = 10650 + 33597.20 = Rs.44247.20
Time taken by Punit, Vinit and Ajit to be together at the starting point = LCM of 45, 54 and 36 seconds = 3 × 3 × 2 × 5 × 3 × 2 = 540 seconds
Side of the square = Sqrt (Area) = √407044=638cm
Circumference of the circle = 638 cm
Directions (6 – 7):
Q is the son of R is not the mother. So, R is the father Q. P is married to R. So, P is the wife of R and the mother of Q. X is the daughter of P and hence of R and so she is the sister of Q. Y is the brother of R and Z is the brother of Q. R is the husband of P and Z is the brother of P. So, Z is the brother-in-law of R.
Directions(8 – 10):

11). The meaning is clearly demonstrated by option 1 that food tasting would not be effective i.e its utility is not fulfilled when the symptoms on the food taster are not visible within a certain period of time. The effects are seen on the food taster so the second blank has to be ‘symptom’. Thus ‘effective, symptoms’ is the correct answer.
12). The first blank is filled by the word ‘mutual’ meaning reciprocal and no other word demonstrates the meaning this well. The second blank needs to be filled by the word ‘camaraderie’ which means mutual trust and friendship and no other word is appropriate as this. Thus option 4 is the correct answer.
13). The first blank needs to be filled by a negative word that has to be ‘rigidity’. The second blank needs to be filled by a positive word which is ‘compatibility’. Thus option 1 is the correct option.
14). The first blank needs to be filled by the word ‘encourage’ as the other words are inappropriate. The second blank if filled up with the word ‘decorum’ demonstrates a clear meaning. Thus option 3 is the correct answer.
