Let chair = x, table = y Given, that
3x + 4y = 1800; 4x + 3y = 1000
x + y = 400
5x + 5y = 2000
Ratio of profit A : B = 8 × 50000 : 8 × 100000 = 1 : 2
A’s share = 1/3 x 24000 = 8000
B’s share = 2/3 x 24000 = 16000
Difference = 16000 – 8000 = 8000
Let cost price = x, no. of items = y
Then (90x/100) × (110y/100) = 99xy/100
Therefore 1% loss
After dropping Strength of class A = 30
Total age of class A = 40 × 15 – 10 × 15 = 450
Strength of class B = 30
Total age of class B = 50 × 13 – 20 × 13 = 390
Now average = (450 + 390)/60 = 14
By verification 50 × 10 + 10 × 50 = 500
