Solutions:
Total production of cement by the companies A and D in year 1994 = 50 + 35 = 85
by the companies E and G in year 1994 = 22 + 63 = 85
Hence, year 1994 in the answer
Maximum difference in total production for years 1995 & 1996,
for company G = 80 + 120 = 200 lakh tonnes
for company B = 19 + 21 = 40 lakh tonnes
Therefore, required difference = 200 – 40 = 160 lakh tonnes
From table
It is shown, clearly that company E & G have shown continuous growth in production
Average of total production = (463 + 391 + 369 + 351 + 310 + 287 + 252 + 260)/8 = 2683/8 = 335.3 ≈ 351
i.e. Production equal to year 1995.
Required percentage = (391 – 351)/351 = 40/351 x 100 = 11.4% ≈ 11%
N is son of T and J.
So, K is son of T and J.
Z is father of T. Therefore, Z is grandfather of K.
Thus, K is the grandson of Z.
Hence, option E is correct.
The movements of Rohan are as shown in figure (A to B, B to C, C to D and D to E). Clearly, AD = BC = 2 km
So, required distance = AE = (DE – AD) = (3 – 2) = 1 km.
The movement is as shown in figure.
AC = (AB – BC) = (10 – 6) km = 4 km. Clearly, D is to the North-east of A.
So, Kunal’s distance from starting point A = AD = √AC2 + CD2 = √42 + 32 = √25 = 5 km. So, it is 5 km to the North-east of his starting point.
