IBPS PO VI 2016 Preliminary Exam Analysis – 16th October (3rd Slot)

Dear Aspirants,

The Preliminary phase of the IBPS PO/MT VI Exam has started from today. The third slot of the exam was scheduled from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. The level of the exam was Easy to Moderate.

(i) Reading Comprehension – 8 Questions – (Moderate) (No Antonym and Synonym based question) (Based on Globalisation)

(ii) Cloze Test – 7 Questions (Moderate)  

(iii) Spotting Error – 10 Questions (Easy)

(iv) Parajumbles – 5 Questions (Moderate)  (Pollution based)

Quantitative Aptitude
Level –Easy to Moderate

(i) Number Series – 5 Questions (Moderate)

(ii) Approximation – 5 Questions (Easy )

(iii) Data Interpretation (2 Sets) – 10 Questions  (Easy to Moderate) (Tabular based)

(iv) Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions (Easy)

(v) Miscellaneous Questions – 10 Questions (Moderate)

Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Mixture Allegation, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Time & Work, etc.

Reasoning Ability
Level – Easy to Moderate

(i) Syllogism – 5 Questions (Easy)

(ii) Inequality – 5 Questions  (Easy) Direct Questions

(iii) Puzzle and Sitting Arrangement– 15 Questions (Moderate – Difficult) (Floor based, Circular Arrangement)

(v) Blood Relation – 3 Questions  (Easy)

(vi)  Direction based – 3 Questions (Easy)

(vii) Rest Miscellaneous
