Important : Government Appoints New Chiefs for CISF, NSG and NDRF

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has today appointed new chiefs of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the National Security Guard (NSG) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
O.P. Singh from Uttar Pradesh, would be next Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the HAG+ pay scale (pre-revised) from
the date of joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Sudhir Pratap Singh from Rajasthan, as the Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG) in HAG+ pay scale (pre revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of this superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
R. K. Pachnanda from West Bengal, would be the next Director General of the NDRF in the HAG+ pay scale (pre revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2018 or until further orders whichever is earlier.
However, the government cancelled the appointment of PC Thakur as Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards.
Note : All the three officers are from the Indian Police Service's 1983 batch.
