1). c)Let Lalitha, Anita and Neha have 20x, 73x and 83x gold coins at present.
Initially, Lalitha has (20x + 25) coins, Anitha had (73x + 15) coins and Neeha had (83x + 30) coins.
Then 20x + 25 + 73x + 15 + 83x + 30 = 950 => 176x = 880 => x = 5
Therefore, Anitha had 73 × 5 + 15 = 380coins
x = 175 × 40/85 × (¾)/(1/4) = 247
=> 247 – 175 = 72. That is 72 men will have to be employed.
3). a)Time taken for the elevator to make 1 round trip starting from the ground = 50 sec + 50 sec + 12 × 15 sec + 12 × 15 secs = 100 + 180 + 180 = 460 sec
Total number of round trips = (Total Time Taken)/(Time taken for one round trip)
= (5 ½ × 60 × 60)/460 = 11 × 60 × 60 / 2 × 460 = 43 approx.
4). d)One girl can be chosen in 4C1 = 4 ways and 4 boys can be chosen in 6C4 = 15 ways
∴ Total number of ways = 4 x 15 = 60 ways.

Difference of C.I and S.I for 2 years = [P x (1 + R/100)2 – P] – (P x R x 2/100) = PR2/104
Difference of C.I and S.I for 3 years = [P x (1 + R/100)3 – P] – (P x R x 3/100) = PR2/104[(300 + R)/100]
