1. Union Minister of Health J P Nadda inaugurated a state-of-the-art centre to conduct research on medical benefits of yoga at the AIIMS. This centre has been opened to emphasize on yoga and traditional systems of medicine.
एम्स में योग के चिकित्सकीय लाभों पर अनुसंधान करने के लिए एक अत्याधुनिक केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया गया। योग और परंपरागत चिकित्सा पद्धतियों पर सरकार के विशेष ध्यान दिये जाने के तहत यह केंद्र खोला गया है।
2. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off a new train service between Danapur and Saharsa in Bihar through video-conferencing. Besides flagging off the Danapur-Saharsa Janhit Express, Prabhu also announced the extension of three train services in Bihar and Jharkhand.

7. The Cabinet approved the signing of a protocol amending an agreement between India and Belgium for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. This amendment in the protocol will broaden the scope of the existing framework of exchange of tax related information between the two countries, which will help curb tax evasion and tax avoidance.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने दोहरे कराधान से बचने और आयकर के संबंध में होने वाली अपवंचना की रोकने के लिए बेल्जियम के साथ एक संशोधित संधि पर हस्ताक्षर करने की अनुमति दे दी। प्रोटोकोल में इस संशोधन से दोनों देशों के बीच कर संबंधी सूचनाओं को साझा करने के ढांचे का विस्तार होगा जिससे कर अपवंचना से निपटने में मदद मिलेगी।
8. To encourage saving in its pension scheme, retirement fund body EPFO will provide 8.16 per cent higher pension to all those subscribers opting for deferring the benefit till the age of 60 years.

India has started fully-funded training courses for Commonwealth citizens across a range of areas, including rural development, renewable energy and IT, under a programme that aims to build capacity in member countries. 10. China has launched its first 'dark sky reserve' in its Tibetan region near the India and Nepal borders with an aim to limit light pollution and protect astronomical sites. It has been jointly launched by the 'China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation' and the regional government of Tibet.
चीन ने भारत और नेपाल की सीमा से लगे अपने तिब्बती क्षेत्र में प्रकाश प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने और खगोलीय स्थलों को सुरक्षित रखने के मकसद से 'डार्क स्काई रिजर्व' की शुरूआत की है। इसकी शुरूआत 'चाइना बायोडाइवर्सिटी कंजरवेशन एंड ग्रीन डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन' तथा तिब्बत की क्षेत्रीय सरकार की ओर से संयुक्त रूप से की गई है।
