इसरो ने एकसाथ प्रक्षेपित किए रिकॉर्ड 20 उपग्रह
अपने अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम में कीर्तिमान स्थापित करते हुए भारत ने एक ही मिशन में पीएससलवी-सी34 के माध्यम से 20 उपग्रहों को सफलतापूर्वक प्रक्षेपित किया। इन उपग्रहों में भारत का काटरेसैट-2 सीरीज भी शामिल है।
भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) की ओर से पीएसलएवी-सी34 को श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से सुबह 9:26 बजे छोड़ा गया और इसने करीब 30 मिनट के बाद काटरेसैट-2 सीरीज और 19 अन्य उपग्रहों को ‘सन सिंक्रोनस ऑर्बिट’ या सूर्य स्थतिक कक्षा में स्थापित किया। श्रीहरिकोटा चेन्नई से करीब 110 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है।
ISRO launches record 20 satellites in one go
Setting a record in its space programme, India successfully launched 20 satellites, including its earth observation Cartosat-2 series, in a single mission on board ISRO's workhorse PSLV-C34 from the spaceport.
In a precision launch, PSLV-C34 took off from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre here, about 110 km from Chennai at 9.26 AM and placed the Cartosat-2 Series and 19 others in the designated polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO) about 30 minutes later in clear skies.

भारत की नंबर दो खिलाड़ी को 2500 डालर अैर 60 ईएलओ अंक मिले और इससे वह फिर से शीर्ष दस में शामिल हो गयी हैं। हरिका ने हंगरी में जलाकारोस अंतरराष्ट्रीय शतरंज महोत्सव में भी सर्वश्रेष्ठ महिला खिलाड़ी का पुरस्कार हासिल किया था।

Grand Master Harika Dronavalli added another feather to her cap by winning the best women's player award in the Eurasian Blitz chess tournament in Kazakhstan.
The India number two player picked up a cash prize of USD 2500 and 60 ELO points to regain her position in the top 10. Harika had won the best woman's prize at the Zalakaros International Chess Festival in Hungary to jump to world number 9 in the classical rankings list.
