  • Clear the air - to remove the bad feelings between people
  • Unambiguous - completely clear
  • Eased - to make something less serious / difficult / painful
  • Significant - important or noticeable
  • Grey area - a situation that is not clear or where the rules are not known
  • Caveat - a warning to consider something before taking any more action
  • Precondition - a condition that must be fulfilled before other things can happen
  • Preferably - if possible
  • Isolation - the condition of being alone / separate
  • Certain - some / limited
  • Proportion - part / share
  • Domestic - relating to a person's own country
  • Livelihood - the money people need to pay for food, a place to live, clothing, etc
  • Inhibited - not confident enough to say or do what you want
  • Fall foul of something - to break a rule or law (especially without a plan / purpose)
  • Norms - standards
  • Amended - made minor changes to something, in order to improve it
  • State-of-the-art - very modern and using the most recent ideas and methods
  • Cutting-edge - highly advanced
  • Ambiguously - having or expressing more than one possible meaning
  • Predictably - as expected
  • Waiver - an agreement that you do not have to pay or obey something
  • Citing - refering to something
  • Clause - a particular part of a written legal document
  • Convoluted - (an argument) became extremely complex and difficult to follow
  • Circumstances - a fact or event that makes a situation the way it is
  • Altogether - completely / totally
  • Counterproductive - having the opposite of the desired effect
  • Arbitrariness - using unlimited personal power without considering other people's wishes
  • Discretion - the ability to behave without hurting anybody or attracting too much attention, especially by keeping information secret
  • Constitute - to form or make something
  • Transparent - open and honest, without secrets
  • Litigation - the process of taking legal action
  • Rival - a person competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity
  • Incorporating - to include something as part of something larger
  • Advancement - development or improvement
  • Enhancing - improving / increasing
  • Rendered - to become
  • Fruitless - failing to achieve the desired results
  • Overseas - related to foreign countries
  • Whim - a sudden wish or idea
  • Interpretation - the action of explaining the meaning of something
  • Opt out - to choose not to be part of an activity / to stop being involved in something
  • Ultimately - finally (in the end)
  • Concerns - to become involved with something / related to something
  • Homogeneity - similarity (of the same kind)
  • Swiftly - quickly (within a short time) in a smooth and easy way
  • Contradict - to be so different from another fact or statement that one of them must be wrong
  • Debate - a serious discussion / argument
  • Serb - a person belongs to Serbia
  • Elevated - raised (placed in higher levels)
  • Rarefied - without any of the problems of ordinary life
  • Caveat - a warning to consider something before taking any more action
  • Lack of something - not having something
  • Conquering - successfully take control of something
  • Unforgiving - unpleasant or difficult to deal with
  • Destroyer - a person or thing that destroys something
  • Armoured - protected by a strong covering
  • Legacy - something that is a part of your history or that remains from an earlier time
  • String - a set of objects joined together
  • Holy grail - something that is extremely difficult to get
  • Precede - come before in time / order / position
  • Era - a period of time in which some important events happened
  • Persuasive - making you want to do or believe a particular thing
  • Transition - the process of changing from one state or condition to another
  • Meanwhile - while something else is happening
  • Claim - a statement that something is true
  • Apparent - clearly visible or understood
  • Significant - important or noticeable
  • Dictate - to influence something
  • Meticulously - very carefully (with great attention to every detail)
  • Honed - became perfect
  • Subtlest - making use of clever and indirect methods to achieve something
  • Resilience - the quality of being able to return quickly to a previous good condition after problems
  • Invulnerable - impossible to damage or hurt in any way
  • Where every mask cracks - where it is hard to fake/hide things
  • Illusion - something that is not really what it seems to be (not true)
