Railways RRB Exam Preparation Time Table

Indian Railways is one of the best PSU employer in India. Many of you might be preparing for Railway RRB non-technical exam. Today I am going to share syllabus for Railway RRB exam.

Exam Pattern

The Railway Exam 2016 will be conduct online. Total Questions will be 100 for 90 Minutes.
  • Negative Marking of 0.33 would be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • There are no section-wise cutoffs. Over all cut off will be there for their Selection.

A. General Awareness: 25 questions from this section. Questions covered in this topics are given below:

  • Basic Computer
  • Famous Books and Authors
  • Abbreviations
  • Persons and Place in News
  • Sports ( Trophy/cups, persons in news)
  • Static GK( Dams, Rivers, Deserts, Questions related to Railway, Five year plans, Govt. schemes, HQ,)
  • Current Affairs
B. Numerical Ability: From this section expected Questions are 25. The Topics are given below:
  • Number System
  • Simplification, Square & cube roots
  • Fraction, LCM, HCF

  • Profit and Loss

Preparation Time table for RRB exam

Pattern of RRB and SSC is almost same. Difference is in no. of Questions and Marks. In RRB exam there is a particular section of Science and no English section. For RRB exam you have to give time to science as well as other subjects.

Preparation Time Table for those who are working and also preparing for SSC & RRB exams

Subjects/ weeks CA & Static GK Maths Eng/Science Reasoning
On weekdays Morning 1 hr 15 mints to CA & Static GK 1 hr to maths in eve 1 topic for a day 30 mints daily practice
On weekend Revise all CA of week & try to cover 1 General awareness topic in a week 3-4 hrs maths practice Eng: 1st clear your basic grammar after that do practice 1 hr.
Science: 20 days per topic i.e. Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Try to cover 3 topics in a week and revise them properly
