Questions asked by a Beginner - Answered

Dear Sir,

I am Jeet Das from Kolkata.I will be appearing in 2016 for theses exams 1) SBI-PO, IBPS-PO, IBPS RRB And NABARD exam.I need your help in few areas so I have some questions to ask.

1) I am finding it difficult to choose books that cover the syllabus of Marketing, banking awareness and computer knowledge. I am currently following arhihant publication books on
these subjects, would that be sufficient or i have to buy some other books? Please suggest some books which covers the entire syllabus of marketing, banking and computer. 

Marketing awareness - Best book for Marketing Management is written by Kotler and Keller., but it's a 1300 pages book. If you have enough time and want to learn the subject in depth, go for it.

Banking Awareness - Here at BankExamsToday, we regularly make notes on Banking Awareness section and it's free!

Computer Awareness - It's a vast subject but difficulty level of this section is really very easy in banking exams. Same questions are repeated.

* Many students follow but personally I don't like Arihant and Kiran publisher's books. That's just personal preference, I don't find any value in these books. They are just wasting thousands of trees ;)

 
2) In SBI PO , there is a descriptive "English" paper consisting essay writing, Precis and letter writing ; which book i should follow to prepare for this section.

This section examines candidate's ability to write and interpret official communications. You to score well in this section, you need to go through format and examples of questions asked in previous exams.

3) Could please tell me where can i give Mock test and Mock interview at the last phase of my preparation?

There are various test series available online. I recommend you to take at least 2. I am the co-owner of TestPanda.com , I recommend this series.
