HSBC announced to shut down of its banking operations in India

  • HongKong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), famous bank announced shut down of its banking operations in India as announced on 27th November 2015.

Mansukhbhai Kothari died

  • Mansukhbhai Kothari died on 27th November 2015. He was founder of Kothari Products Limited which produced the brand ‘Pan Parag’.

Surendra Upadhyaya died

  • Surendra Upadhyaya, the famous literateur, died on 25th November 2015. He was former Chairman of Rajasthan Brijbhasha Academy. He was awarded with Doctor of Literature by University of Rajasthan.

Prof. Y. Sudershan Rao resigned from Chairman of ICHR

  • On 27th November 2015, Prof. Y. Sudershan Rao resigned from Chairman of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR). ICHR is an autonomous body of Human Resource Development Ministry.

Dr.P. Uday Bhaskar appointed as Chairman of APPSC

  • Dr.P. Uday Bhaskar appointed as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission as announced on 26th November 2015. Earlier, Sivanarayana was the Interim Chairman of APPSC.

RBI granted in-principle approval to NPCI

  • RBI granted in-principle approval to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) with the aim to function as Bharat Bill Payment Central Unit (BBPCU).

UNESCO Fellini Medal will be awarded in IFFI for the first time

  • UNESCO Fellini Medal will be awarded for the first time in 46th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) as announced on 27th November 2015. The award was given in collaborated with International Council for Film, Television and Audiovisual Communication, Paris.

3 Cities Fame India Eco Drive started from New Delhi

  • 3 Cities Fame India Eco Drive started from New Delhi on 26th November 2015 as inaugurated by Anant Geete, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. The 3 cities are: Delhi, Chandigarh and Jaipur.

SAADMEx 2015 concluded in Delhi

  • South Asian Annual Disaster Management Exercise (SAADMEx) 2015 concluded on 26th November 2015 in Delhi. This was first ever joint exercise as conducted by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), India.
