Gold Monetization Scheme, Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme and Indian Gold Coins launched

  • Three schemes namely Gold Monetization Scheme, Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme and Indian Gold Coins launched by the Govt. of India on 05th November 2015 with the aim to reduce physical demand of gold.

Vice-President of Maldives Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor impeached

  • Vice-President of Maldives Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor impeached by its Parliament on 04th November 2015. He is 2nd Vice-President of Maldives, the 1st one was Mohamed Jameel.

Bimal Prasad died

  • Bimal Prasad, the former Indian Ambassador to Nepal, died on 04th November 2015. He remained Indian Ambassador to Nepal during 1991-1995. He also wrote very famous book ‘Gandhi, Nehru and J.P.’

Justin Trudeau sworn-in as 23rd Prime Minister of Canada

  • Justin Trudeau of Liberal Party sworn-in as 23rd Prime Minister of Canada and became 2nd youngest PM (43 years) of the country after Joe Clark (40 years). 4 Indians also appointed as Cabinet Minister namely Harjit Sajjan, Navdeep Bains, Amarjeet Sohi and Bardish Chagger.

PM Modi became 9th most powerful person in the World

  • According to the report of Forbes World’s Most Powerful Persons, PM Narendra Modi ranked at No.9 position while President of Russia Vladimir Putin remained at No.1 position for 3rd consecutive year followed by Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of USA Barack Obama.

Belgium ranked at No.1 in FIFA Rankings 2015

  • According to FIFA World Rankings 2015, Belgium ranked at No.1 position for the 1st time as announced on 05th November 2015 followed by Germany and Argentina.

Vikram Gokhale awarded with Vishnudas Bhave Award

  • Vikram Gokhale awarded with Vishnudas Bhave Award on 05th November 2015. Earlier, in 2011 he also awarded with Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, in 2013 National Film Award for Best Actor.

Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court announced an important decision

  • According to the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court, child born out of rape also has right over the property of accused/assaulter as announced on 03rd November 2015.
