Delhi-based mobile phone maker Lava has launched ‘Icon’, a mid-range smartphone featuring a customised operating system at Rs 11,990.
The Lava Icon is fitted with a 5 inch HD display protected by Asahi Dragon-trail Glass, a 13 megapixel rear camera featuring a Sony Exmor sensor and dual LED flash, and a 5 megapixel secondary camera.
The Icon’s Star OS, based on Android 4.4 KitKat offers a suite of enhanced photo modes including
Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Smile Shot and Multi view.
The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, and a 2500 mAh battery. The Icon comes with 16 GB of built-in storage, with a microSD expansion slot that supports 32 GB cards.
Icon is available at selected retail stores and exclusively on Snapdeal online. Snapdeal will offer a free selfie stick with the smartphone.
