Payments and Settlement Systems (Amendment) Bill, 2014 passed

• Payments and Settlement Systems (Amendment) Bill, 2014 passed in Rajya Sabha on 27th April 2015 with voice vote. Earlier, the bill was passed in Lok Sabha on 09th December 2014.

Bhalchandra Nemade awarded with Jnanpith Award

• Bhalchandra Nemade of Maharashtra awarded with Jnanpith Award on 25th April 2015 for his contribution towards Indian Literature. He also composed various poems like Melody and Dekhani.
• Raja Rajeswari became the 1st Indian origin woman to be appointed as Judge in New York, USA on 27th April 2015.

• Talal Akbar Bugti, the famous politician of Pakistan, died on 27th April 2015. He was from Jamhoori Watan Party. He was the son of former Governor of Balochistan i.e. Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.

• Omar Hassan al-Bashir became the President of Sudan as won the Presidential elections on 27th April 2015.

Nursultan A. Nazarbayev became the President of Kazakhstan

• Nursultan A. Nazarbayev became the President of Kazakhstan on 27th April 2015 after almost getting 97.7% vote. He became Five times President of Kazakhistan.

• On 27th April 2015, Chadalavada Krishnamurthy appointed as Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board as appointed by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.
