- President of the state is known s a Head of the state, is indirectly elected by an electoral college comprising the Parliament of India (both houses) and the legislative assemblies of each of India's states and territories, who themselves are all directly elected, for the tenure of five year
- In hindi, it is called as Rashtrapati. Resident of President is Rashtrapati Bahwan and the income of a presient is Rs. 5,00,000.
