Vocabulary is an important part of English that helps you deal with all kinds of questions in objective as well as descriptive papers of various exams. In the recently concluded Banking Exams, we witnessed that a major part of the exam was based on vocabulary. Many questions were vocab based and we can expect the same in the upcoming exams. It becomes very important to learn ample amount of words for the upcoming Government Job Exams. You can learn new words daily from our Daily Word List . Here is a list of words from daily Editorials. Learn the words and make your own sentences on the basis of the given word list.

1. BLOAT (Verb) - सूजना
Meaning: make or become swollen with fluid or gas.
Synonyms: inflate, swell
Antonyms: compress, contract
Example: The carcass started to bloat.

2. ANGUISH (noun) - पीड़ा
Meaning: severe mental or physical pain or suffering.
Synonyms: agony, pain, torment, torture, suffering
Antonyms: happiness, contentment
Example: Nothing can take away the anguish of losing a child.

3. FRET (Verb) - खीज
Meaning: cause anxiety to.
Synonyms: trouble, bother, concern, perturb, disturb, disquiet,
Antonyms: comfort
Example:  Don't let sorrow fret away your courage.

4. RECUPERATE (Verb) - स्वस्थ हो जाना
Meaning: recover from illness or exertion.
Synonyms:  recover, convalesce,  improve, mend
Antonyms: deteriorate, hurt
Example: Other mammals and birds recuperate or grow to maturity in outdoor enclosures.

5. RENEGE (Verb) - इनकार
Meaning: go back on a promise, undertaking, or contract.
Synonyms: break, repudiate, retract
Antonyms: keep, honour
Example: If you renege on the deal now, I'll fight you in the courts.

6. OPPORTUNE (Adjective) - सामयिक
Meaning: (of a time) especially convenient or appropriate for a particular action or event.
Synonyms: auspicious, propitious, favourable, advantageous, heaven-sent
Antonyms: disadvantageous, ill-timed
Example: I waited, hoping for an opportune moment to discuss the possibility of a raise.

7. PIVOT (Noun) - धुरी
Meaning: the central point, pin, or shaft on which a mechanism turns or oscillates.
Synonyms: fulcrum, axis, axle, swivel, pin, hub, spindle, hinge, pintle, kingpin
Example: The pivot on which the old system turned had disappeared.

8. PROTRACT (Verb) - फैलना
Meaning: prolong.
Synonyms: extend. lengthen, elongate, continue
Antonyms: curtail, shorten
Example: I have no desire to protract the process.

9. SANGUINE (Adjective) - आशावादी
Meaning: optimistic or positive, especially in an apparently bad or difficult situation.
Synonyms: optimistic, bullish, hopeful, buoyant, positive
Antonyms: pessimistic, gloomy
Example: They are less sanguine about the company's long-term prospects.

10. TENUOUS  (Adjective) - तुच्छ
Meaning: very weak or slight.
Synonyms: slight, insubstantial, flimsy, negligible
Antonyms: convincing, substantial, strong
Example: My identity was becoming more and more tenuous.
