Allahabad High Court Exam Pattern 2018: 3408 Vacancies

Dear aspirants,

Allahabad High Court Exam notification for appreciable number of 3,408 vacancies is one such latest opportunity for govt. job aspirants to serve as Stenographer Gr.-III, Junior Assistant (Category 'C') & Paid Apprentices, Drivers and Cadre. The notification has been released on 6 December 2018 and same is the starting date to apply online. This post deals with Exam Syllabus & Pattern for different Posts in Allahabad High Court Exam 2018 and lights upon the Selection Process for the same.

Exam level is easy to moderate. Syllabus for Allahabad High Court 2018 includes 10th standard Hindi, English, General Studies and Mathematics. 

Below given distribution of maximum marks for corresponding subjects of the exam is the analyzation of Previous Year Examination where 25 questions from each 4 section for aggravated 100 marks with no negative marking consisted of the Exam Pattern for Allahabad High Court Exam. Stenographer Gr.-III (Category 'C')
  • Written Examination (on O.M.R. Sheet)
  • Hindi/English Computer Type Test
  • Hindi/English Stenography Test
Junior Assistant (Category 'C') & Paid Apprentices (Category 'C):
  • Written Examination (on O.M.R. Sheet) 
  • Hindi/English Computer Type Test 
Drivers (Driver Category 'C'Grade- IV):
  • Written Examination (on O.M.R. Sheet)
  • Technical Driving Test 
'D' Cadre Posts: 
  • Written Examination (on O.M.R. Sheet)

  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers in Stage-I Written Examination.
  • The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages.
  • The Selection Committee has discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks in any or all parts of papers for Stage-I (Written Examination).


  • Hindi/English Computer Type Test

    25/30 words per minute for Hindi/English typewriting on computer.
    Hindi Typing-> 25 marks
    English Typing-> 25 marks

    ☛ Hindi/English Stenography Test -> 50 Marks
    For Hindi Stenographers :- 
    • 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand in Hindi and 
    • 30 w.p.m. in Typing in Hindi on computer.
    For English Stenographers :- 
    • 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand in English and 
    • 40 w.p.m. in Typing in English on computer.
    ☛ Technical Driving Test 
    The candidates will have to clear the Technical Driving Test to the satisfaction of the Selecting/Appointing authority.

    In Allahabad High Court 2017 Exam, Hindi language section was of easy to moderate level. There was 2 Reading Comprehension(गद्यांश) with 10 questions based on it.

    English

    In English Language Section, heavy weightage topic was Fillers on which 13 questions of easy level were asked. Following the Fillers, Error Detection and Reading Comprehension Topics were major topics in English Section.

    General Studies

    General Awareness questions were asked from Current Affairs(9 questions). Also History, Geography, Civics, Static GK, history, Geography,  General Science were predominant topics asked in Exam.

    Prioritize General Science and Current Affairs along with History to score well in GA Section.
