Arithmetic Progression
Series of the form→
a, a + d, a + 2d, a + 3d . . . . . . . . . .
is called Arithmetic Progression, when they increase or decrease by a common difference
e.g.→ 5, 12, 19, 26, 33
Common difference, d = 12 – 5 = 7
19 – 12 = 7
26 – 19 = 7
a₁, a₂, a₃ . . . . . . . . . . ,Tn
d = common difference = Second term – Ist term= a₂ – a₁
Tn =a+(n-1)d
a → 1st term
n → no. of terms
d → Common difference
