CTET 2018: Teaching Job Opportunities

Every year the competition for Govt. Job is getting tougher. You can consider the severity with the fact that near about approx.1,00,000 candidates are applying for few thousands of posts, especially considering CTET is just one of the criteria.

Anyhow to apply for the Government School Job, you have to apply through govt. vacancies. For a private school jobs, you have to contact school directly.

Aspirants aiming for a teaching career in government schools in the capital will have to qualify the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The new teachers - for classes I to VIII in Delhi Government schools - will be recruited from among those candidates who have cleared the CTET. Now all schools in Delhi - private, aided and government, will come under CTET. 

The Delhi Government has written that they will adopt CTET and will recruit only certified teachers as per the requirements of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. 

Here CBSE made an Amendment in Eligibility Criteria of the Information Bulletin of CTET-2018 as per the clarification received from NCTE. Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage.
