The time of 90 minutes will be given to the candidates. There will be four sections in the examination- GK , Reasoning , Mathematics and English/Hindi.

4. Medical Examination
Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the candidates who qualify PET/PST.
The selected candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Boards constituted by the CAPFs to assess their physical and medical fitness as prescribed in the official notification.
Eye sight:
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
➡The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 23 years
The crucial date of age-limit will be calculated with reference to 01-08-2018.
The candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
☛ What is the application Fee?
- Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/-
- Last date for submission of applications:30th September 2018 (up to 5PM)
- Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank.
- Candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank upto 3rd October 2018.
☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
