SEBI Officers Grade 'A' Recruitment 2018: Advance Intimation Out

Hi Readers,

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has recently released the Advance Intimation for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) posts for the General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream & Engineering Stream.

Total Posts:- 120

General Stream:- 84 posts.

Legal Stream:- 18 posts.

Information Technology Stream:- 8 posts.

Engineering(Civil) Stream:- 5 posts.

Engineering(Electrical) Stream:- 5 posts.

Age(as on 31st August 2018):-

Less than 30 years.

Application Fees:-

Rs. 850/-(General & Others).

Rs. 100/-(SC/ST/PWD).

Education Qualification:-

For General Stream:-

Master’s Degree in any discipline

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Law

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

OR

Chartered Accountant

OR

Company Secretary

OR

Chartered Financial Analyst

OR

Cost & Work Accountant

For Legal Stream:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Law

For Information Technology Stream:-

Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ ECE / IT/ CS)

OR

Masters in Computers Application

OR

Graduate in any discipline with Post Graduate Qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers/ IT.

For Engineering(Civil) Stream:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

For Engineering(Electrical) Stream:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Mode of Selection:-

Selection will be carried out in 3 phases:-

• Phase I will be an on-line examination consisting of Multiple Choice Questions on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning & Awareness of Securities Market.
• Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II, which will also be an on-line examination consisting of three papers.
• Candidates shortlisted in Phase II will be called for an Interview.
