Odisha Police Recruitment 2018:

Odisha Police has released recruitment notification for 3743 vacancies for the post of Civil Constable (Male/ Female) in Districts/Establishment and Sepoys/Constables (Male) in Battalions.

Last Date to Apply Online: 26th July 2018 (Till 5:00 PM)

The Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test will be held on 6th August 2018 (Monday) at 7:00 AM.

Total Number Of Vacancy: 3743

• Civil Constable: 1722
• Sepoys/Constables in Battalions: 2021

Age Limit :

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 23 years

Age as on 1st January 2018.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidate must have passed High School Certificate examination or equivalent examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognized Board/ Council. 
• A candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia.
• Must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia Language equivalent to M.E standard, recognized or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of Government of Odisha.

Physical Measurement:

Note: Women are not also eligible for consideration for induction into the Battalions.
