➤ Radio Umang: India's 1st Online Radio Station Launched

i. India's 1st Online Radio Station 'Radio Umang' was launched recently in India. Listeners can tune in to this online radio station through web streaming or download the app.

ii. With 24 hours programming, it has found listeners in Hindi speaking regions of India and in over 60 countries worldwide.

 India's First Radio Festival Being Held In Delhi

i. India's first radio festival is being held in New Delhi to mark World Radio Day. 
ii. The festival includes live performances, an exhibition, and slotted panel discussions. Apart from touching on the theme for World Radio Day 2018 - radio and sports - the festival is also examining the potential of the medium as a platform for social change, ways to make it more creative and will trace the journey of music on the radio.

 ➤ Tamil Nadu Wins Senior Women's National Football Championship For First Time

i. Tamil Nadu has won the Senior Women's National Football Championship for the first time. Tamil Nadu, which was playing its first-ever final, defeated Manipur, 2-1 at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. 
ii. Skipper Indumathi and Indrani found the net for Tamil Nadu, while Ratanbala scored Manipur's only goal.


➤ India's 2nd Mission to Moon Chandrayaan-2 to be Launched in April 2018

i. According to the Union Minister of State of the Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to launch Chandrayan-2 Mission around April 2018.
ii. Chandrayaan-2 is the country's second mission to the moon.
iii. Chandraayan-2 is a challenging mission as for the first time we will carry an orbiter, a lander and a rover to the moon.

➤ National Conference on “Agriculture 2022- Doubling Farmers’ Income”

i. The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has organized a National Conference under the title of “Agriculture 2022 – Doubling Farmers’ Income” in New Delhi.
ii. The main aim of the conference is to build a consensus around appropriate recommendations that will help in shaping and sharpening the vision of the Government on Doubling Farmers’ Income by 2022 into actionable points.
