Staff Selection Commission has declared revised results on 12th may 2018 based on which following lists indicating addition/ deletion of candidates have been prepared by the Staff Selection Commission (available on website of the SSC):
Based on the revised results dated 12th may 2018, all those candidates who have been sponsored by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for appointment as Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant in Department of Posts are requested to indicate their preference of Postal Circle upto 24th may 2018.
SSC(Staff Selection Commission) has released the list of Nomination of CHSL Exam 2016 . The dossiers of the following candidates who have been declared finally selected have been sent to the Ministries/ Departments/Offices. After the verification of documents by the respective departments appointment letter will be generated. This process will be complete in three to four months.

- List-l: 7l (seventy one) candidates who were not selected in the earlier result are now declared as selected.
- List-2: 72 (seventy two) candidates who were declared 'selected' in the earlier result are now declared as not selected.
- List-3: 93 (ninety three) candidates in respect of whom there is a change in the Post/ Department.

SSC has released a notice for extension of time period for submission of Postal Circle prefernce from selected candidates for appointent as PA/SA on the basis of CHSL 2016. The candidates who have already sent the preference form need not send once again.

- The submission of options / preferences of all 23 Circles is necessary. If a candidate does not indicate any option / preference or limited options / preferences, Postal Circle will be allocated as mentioned in para 2(d) of the covering letter.
- Please indicate preference for all 23 Postal Circles where vacancies are available as under:
- The candidate must send the duly filled-in Option Form to the following postal address,by e-mail and Speed Post / Registered Post by 24th may 2018.
- The subject of the email should contain only Roll Number followed by your name, for example, if Roll no. is 3201564871 and name is Amit Kumar than subject of the email should be "3201564871 Amit Kumar".
