Railway Recruitment 2018: 26,502 Vacancies
Dear Students , Railway Recruitment Board has released two notice regarding the educational qualification i.e. COE Courses & Equivalent NCVT Trades and Equivalence of Restructured (Model ITI) Pattern & Conventional Pattern of CTS(Craftsmen Training Scheme) the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot & Technicians.To remove the confusion of majority of the aspirants regarding the educational qualification in Technical courses, the notification by RRB contains details status and information on the trades of ITI and NCVT.
Total No. of Posts: 26,502
- Loco Pilot (ALP) : 17,673
- Technicians : 8,829
First stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Tentatively scheduled during April and May, 2018.
Educational Qualification:

Some Important Points:
Candidates holding Degree, Diploma and HSC (10+2) having eligibility for the posts of ALP have to select relevant trade from the list of trades listed against their engineering discipline(which includes Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering , Mechanical Engineering ,Automobile Engineering with the combination of various streams in the respective Engineering Traits is acceptable for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot).
- Candidates passed out with Physics and Maths in intermediate(12th Standard) are eligible for Technician Grade III Signal and Technician Grade III Telecommunication posts namely Post 70 and Post 71 respectively.
- It has been notified that for the post of Technicians, Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in place of course completed Act Apprentice/ITI unless it is specified otherwise. Following the same, Graduate Act Apprentice will not be accepted in place of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA)
